Lexise's Favorite Recipes: Pretzel Salad

           Pretzel Salad

My mother has been making this delicious dessert for me for 3 years I absolutely love it! It involves the taste of sweetness, salty, and whipped cream chesse.

  First you will need an: 

1 9×13 inch pan (Serves 18 people)


2 cups of crushed pretzels 


3/4 cup margarine, melted (known as butter)


2 teaspoons white sugar


1 (8ounce) package cream chesse


3/4 white sugar 


4 1/2 oz of frozen whipped topping ,thawed (Original)


1 (6 oz) package flavored Strawberry Jello-O 


2 Cups of boiling water 


2 (10 oz)  packages frozen strawberries

Now let's get into the cooking! Aka Directions: 


1. Preheated oven to 400 Degrees (200 degrees C).

2. In a medium bowl, mix crushed pretzels ,butter and sugar.

3. Press curshed preztel mixture into the bottom of the 9×13 inch baking pan and bake in the preheated over 8 minutes. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.

4. Blend together the cream chesse and sugar. Fold in whipped topping and spread evenly over cooled pretzel mixture.

5. In a medium bowl,dissolve the strawberry Jell-O Into the boiling water.Then mix in strawberries and set aside to cool for 15 minutes.

6. Pour Jello over cream chesse mixture and refrigerate until set about 4-5 hours.

THEN ENJOY!

How To Take Care of Your Hair & Braids

 Today I would like to share my Do's and Don'ts that I do to take care of my hair wearing braids and keeping my braids looking refreshed and new. I'm not an expert of hair, but I do know what works and doesn't work from my experience. So take this from someone who wears braids pretty much all the time when she is not rocking her other styles.   1) Make sure when you are getting your hair braided make sure your " baby hairs " are not braided tightly. Now I learned from this letting braiders braid your hair too tightly can cause thinning hairline. Now, when braiders are braiding other places around your head if it's too tight please say something. If you are paying any amount of money you should get the proper care and respect.  2) Make sure you moisturize your hair and braids. Oil your scalp at least 2 times a week to keep your scalp from not drying and being neglected. Use a braid sheen spray or lotion to apply to your hair every day if nee...
